i had a friend come by and weld the fittings on my keggle. when he was done i had some small leaks. he is unable to finish the job.
can i just bring it to a welding place to finish, or even like a muffler place? or does it have to be done some special way since it will be boiling my beer?

Don't take it to a muffler shop.
Do you know what type of welding your friend did? tig, mig, or stick?
Try to find a specialty welding shop. Someone who is a tig welder.
Where do you live?
I am in Alabama.
If you are close I would fix it for you for next to nothing. I still enjoy welding, and like to do projects like that. I made my keggle electric with a drain and temp gauge.
If there were enough people on this forum interested I would weld their keggles for them. I guess the only drawback would be shipping back and forth.

look up welding in your area on google. Then just call them and ask.
Good luck... Brost!
