Quick Wine Question

HI, currently trying to make my first wine. My kit tells me that I need to wash all of my equipment down with 50 grams of metabisulphate but the kit only cxame with 4 grams. What do I need metabisuplahte for? Can I skip it or should I wait until tommorow to buy some more? THanks!!

I'm betting it is to sanitize your equipment. I would definitely follow the instructions unless you are familiar with sanitation and have another sanitation product on hand.

Hi RIch. I have the ame sanitizing stuff that I use for my beers, the one step sanitizer. Guess maybe I'll wait? Damn.
