Hey, all!
Just a quick question on lautering. In the literature I've been reading it is saying that i should transfer the mash from my mash-tun into my lauter-tun and sparge afterward. I'll be running an igloo cooler with a false bottom and was wondering if it's acceptable practice to lauter the mash inside the lauter-tun itself rather than transfer it to an actual lauter-tun before hand? It seems to me like there shouldn't be any problems but i have a tendency to overlook things and want my first AG beer to be a good experience. any thoughts?
