Well my fermentation chest freezer went out and SWMBO said I couldn't get a new one since I just built a kegerator, but seeing as though ambient temps are around 90*f right now I had to figure something out. So in steps my old dorm fridge that was laying around, though too small to fit a bucket so I added a collar. Through some rather shoddy craftsmanship and too many saisons, I wasn't as square as hoped so the door seal takes alot of pressure to make happen. My question is what kind of latch would y'all suggest so I can get rid of the ghetto rigged ratchet strap? I tried a standard gate hatch out and it wasn't cutting it.

I suppose that's probably what is going to happen because as you can see the whole thing was a drunken mess lol I got liquid nails every where. Don't drink and diy! I would like to use some sort of latch though to make it slightly less hokey as you have to walk past it to get into my house. I will probably put a beauty ring over the collar as well, sober this time. Would a few toolbox latches work?

Toolbox latches might work.

I may be bad at Diy because I'm only sober at work. Sometimes not even then.
