okay so i brewed my first batch but i have to go to work here in a few... its not all the way to 65 degrees so can i leave it in the fridge until i get home then add the yeast? im working a full 8 hrs
 
You can, but the longer you leave it without pitching your yeast the biggest the risk something wild starts growing in there. If you do leave it, make sure it's sealed up nice and tight.
 
Yes that is perfectly fine. For the sake of caution to just cover it with some sanitized tinfoil or through an airlock on there.
 
I would say room temp because otherwise you will have to wait for the Wort to come back up to pitching temps.
