Hello All,

I'm a new brewer and just brewed my second batch (moved up to 5 gallons this time). I used the le petite orange kit from northern brewer with wyeast Belgian abbey liquid yeast... The question I have is, when I was pitching the yeast into my primary fermenter the little nutrient packet that comes inside the packet of yeast fell into the fermenter. Will this hurt my beer?

Thanks

Yeah it shouldnt hurt anything. Its already in there so no use worrying about it. :)

No worries with the nutrient packet.

BTW- If you just pitched one smack pack with no starter and/or didn't aerate the wort really well, you might experience some fermentation problems. Liquid Belgian Abbey Ale yeast is somewhat particular and you want to pitch a very healthy amount of cells in to well-oxygenated wort.
