I just bought a pump to pull the wort out of my kettle, through my plate chiller, and into my fermentor.
Should I have the pump after the kettle, but before the chiller?
OR after the chiller, and before the fermentor?

Kettle, pump, chiller, fermentor.

Have the inlet pointing down and the outlet pointing up. Also prime it before turning it on. Attach tubing to the kettle then to the inlet of the pump. Attach tubing to the outlet of the pump and place the other end in a bucket. Open the valve and let gravity pull the wort down until you see a flow out of the tubing. Turn the valve off and attach the tubing to the chiller.

I think having the pump before the chiller is the way to go. This will allow you to throttle (assuming you have a ball valve one the output of your pump) the flow speed into the chiller.
