Hi all! It’s been awhile since I’ve been on the forums, but I still have all my equipment and have recently had the itch to get back into it..
I recently rebuilt a soda machine for home use (quarantining drove me to it). Part of that was working on carbonators where I discovered these procon pump heads. They make many variations- the ones in the photos are stainless, self priming, food safe, can sustain 190 degrees F, and pump 125 gph. The motors in the photo are 1/4hp. I also have a few larger ones but these should be plenty for recirculating mash.
Has anyone else used anything similar before? Any downsides you can think of? Or will I be the guinea pig?
