Anyone use this? The recipe's that I have gotten are from my LHBS and they use Promash. I just downloaded the software and started adding the recipe's that I already have. Some numbers are not the same from my sheet to promash. Numbers like IBU's and plato are different. Any help here?

IBUs and SG are going to depend on what promash thinks the AA% of your hops and SG potential of your grains (and mash efficiency) are, respectively... you can adjust those variables for each ingredient in the program...

There are a lot of factors, and you can probably tailor Promash to match your numbers if you are happy with the calculations. Promash has extensive calculation for hops, including which calculation to use (I believe there are 3 different ones in Promash), whether or not to calculate in hop aging, full vs. partial boil, etc.

Things like color and extraction rate are based on the data associated with each grain which you can modify, or even add new grains.

You can adjust the various numbers and amounts in promash through options and set-ups. I would have to go in and rediscover how this is done, but it possible.
