So I came into possession recently of a 2.5gallon keg. It's Northern Brewer's Draft Brewer® Ball Lock, this one in particular... https://www.northernbrewer.com/prod...MIu5Ws2M393gIVnSCtBh3llQjkEAQYASABEgIRVfD_BwE.

My current liquid & gas connects (for 5gal corny ball lock kegs) do not lock properly onto the posts on this 2.5g keg. The posts on it seem to be slightly larger in circumference. In researching I read that this keg is supposedly Type B posts? Though I'm not sure what that really entails. Can anyone tell me from experience which connects I need for this particular keg?

Thanks in advance.

If you feel dumb and didn't research long enough and now have the answer, can you not delete your thread?

Tell us what you found out. It might save us from asking the same question.
Good point. I researched the circumference & threading of the keg posts and it matched what I had, so the only other thing to think of was the o-rings. So the solution was simply swapping them for generic ball lock o-rings at my LHBS. The ones on the keg when it came into my possession (second hand) were just too thick.

I'm having one of those "why didn't I think of that " moments. Sometimes the most obvious is the last thing we think of. I'm glad it was a simple fix.
