I may have had an infection on my last batch..I'm doing the mr beer keg batches..should I boil the spigot, and will starsan be able to kill everything if I soak?

Don't boil plastic! Rinse it with warm water, then soak with PBW for a couple days. Rinse & hit it with starsan. If it was pretty bad, a bleach soak & a good rinse might help as well. But rinse till the bleach smell goes away. Then Starsan.

happened once to me, i hot bleach bombed my carboy.
The beer was great so i used my sour beer stuff to siphon and bottle and such, but i bleach bombed my carboys.
That was 2 years ago, haven't had an issue with the equipment since (this was for a glass and plastic carboy btw)

Take the spigot apart if that is possible. If the spigot does not come apart, rotate to off/on position while it is in the cleaning solution. This will get the cleaning solution into all the internal surfaces.

Define "Bleach Bomb".
