I think I might have enjoyed this last batch of HF double citra more than Heady:eek:... maybe.

For me both of these beers just represent different ends of the IPA spectrum that I've experienced so far. They just changed and redefined the way that I looked at IPAs in general. Both phenomenal beers through and through.

Just drank a 2 week old Heady straight from the can to beat this SoCal heat. It’s working. Anyone wanna bring me a Pliny so I can give a definitive answer to the subject?

Literally, whichever one I'm drinking.

If I was able to taste and compare 2 beers without becoming immediately drunk and losing all ability to evaluate, I'd have an actual opinion.

I might like the *idea* of liking Heady more though, that might win out.

So literally, maybe Heady.

Heady for tailgating and as a party beer. Pliny for a sit-down-at-a-bar kinda thing. Not because it’s fancy. Just because slugging back a 500mL bottle just doesn’t feel right.

Pliny on draft at the brewpub during happy hour for $3.25 though? THAT can’t be beat.

Heady tastes good- very different, but very good- after a year (or two). The first time was an accident; now I hold a reserve rotation on purpose. Srs. Try it.
