I am a brewer in India, I brewed my first batch on the 31st Dec (great way to end 2014) which was a English Bitter Ale, which has turned out to be great so far (fermentation in full swing)

Now i am looking to brew another batch tomorrow but looking for something slightly different. I am probably guessing its a newbie thing to say but i am looking to brew something with a lighter, Goldenish colour such as a blonde or a wheat beer.

I only have the following ingredients which i would like to use.

Please suggest a recipe from the following,
I would like to do an extract based batch as i do not have the experience nor the equipment at this point to go for an all grain.

Malt-
2 row dried malt extract
Pilsner malt
Pale ale malt
German wheat malt
Munich malt
Chocolate malt

Hops-
Us northern brewer
Us liberty
Perle
Aurora
Magnum

Yeast-
Safale us 05
Safale s 04
Safbrew t 58
Safbrew wb 06
Safbrew s 33

Could you all please suggest a recipe with the supplies I got.

Please help, it would be deeply appreciated.

Regards

You could look up wheat ales in the recipe section at the top of the forum. You have some great malts to brew one up! A little magnum for a touch of bittering & perle for flavor hop. S-04 rehydrated for the yeast.

I just used Dry Malt Extract (light) @5.5 lbs, Pale Ale Malt @2 lbs and Liberty Hops @ 4% AA (1.5 oz @ 60 min ) in http://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/calculator/ and it fell within the guidelines of a Blond Ale. I selected partial mash.

You may want to look at some of the recipes on HBT to see how the hop additions are usually done.

You may want to play around with http://www.brewersfriend.com to see how your available ingredients will work.

This looks awesome.
Anyway i could use the malt extract I have using this recipe.

Thank you for your reply.

I've never brewed with extract so no experience but I imagine if it was a light/extra light DME you could use that. When I saw your list I thought the DME would be for starters.

Using light DME I used to brew some one gallon single hop brews (British golden ale style) that worked something like this:

5 US gallons, 4.5% abv, 33IBU

5.5lb DME

60 - 1oz Liberty (5.5%AA)
15 - 1oz Liberty (5.5%AA)
5 - 1oz Liberty (5.5%AA)
Dry hop - 1oz Liberty (5.5%AA)

Worked out quite well to test hops and you end up with a light, hoppy, summery, drinkable beer at the end. You can also do it with just a 15 minute boil but people tend to tell me off for suggesting that.
