Please help me calculate this...

I came up 1 degree Plato short of my goal after the boil; I guess I didn't boil quite as hard as I could have, anyway, I want to add Dry malt extract to 19 L to raise the fermentables 1 degree plato. I think it might be about 168g but I doubt my math skills at the moment... I am too sleepy to see straight.

Help.

If i have seen correctly 1 degree plato is .004 sg. 1 pound of DME = .009 sg increase in a five gallon batch. So it looks like you would need 1/2 pound.

For me that difference is not enough to mess with. Just leave it alone.....
