I recently purchased an A419 temp controller. I am looking to set a temp for my kegeraotr to 64 degrees for a targeted fermentation temp. I have been messing around with the control and get it to work to increase the temp to 64. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've uploaded photos of the instruction manual! Please help. Thanks!! What exactly is the problem you're having with the A419?

The single-stage A419 that's controlling the compressor in your kegerator isn't going to get your kegerator to be warmer than the ambient temperature in the room. So, if the room is 60°F, all the A419 can do is keep the compressor from turning on; it can't heat up the inside air, so the interior will likely top out at the same 60°F.

If that's the case, a two-stage controller would help, as you could add and control a small heat source (eg: reptile bulb) to warm things up when needed. That's beyond the ability of the A419...

Cheers!

He needs to tape the probe to the side of the fermenter. That'll read a warmer temp than what he set it to and the compressor will kick it and cool it down.
