2 Friends and I are planning to take a Road Trip from Central New Jersey to Denver Colorado in the early fall. Our plan is to take about a week driving out there.

On the drive out we would like to plan it so we have a roughly a 3 hour drive followed by a brewpub or brewery to stop at for lunch. Then another 2-3 hour drive to a destination of an early evening brewery and/or a brewpub for the evening, preferably in a town or city with a few options in walking distance of lodging.

Upon arrival in Denver, we'd like to spend 2-3 days there going around and checking out all the great brewpubs/breweries there.

Then on the way home I expect it to be a 4-5 day straight shot, preferably along a different route, where we plan to drive all day and stop around 5-6 in the evening for dinner and beers.

So how we are starting this plan is by using http://beermapping.com to each make lists of breweries and brew pubs that we each really want to hit.

This is an initial link to the google maps generic New Jersey to Denver Colorado Route:

Below is the start of the first draft list of places we would like to go to. I'd love to hear suggestions from anyone who knows of great Brew Stops along the route I am traveling, or anyone who has feedback to share on any of the stops listed.

Not a brewery, but while in Chicago you might want to hit The Hopleaf.
