Hello, howdy, good day everyone !

So,... This is my first brew, using the Festa Brew wheat pack. no boiling required.

And just wondering if I messed this batch up? as the guy at the store told me to simply throw in orange peels, to make a shock top clone.

I cleaned the oranges then cut them in to 4 sections, and used 4 oranges in total.
I didn't know !,.. but i didn't cut the pith off from the orange peel, also didn't boil or pasteurize them,
I just sprayed them with Oxy-San saitizer.

+ I added these peels right away to the fermentor where they stayed for 4 days till i transferred to secondary.

I doubt that you messed anything up. You might have some added bitterness but it shouldn't be too perceivable since you're not doing anything to extract the stuff that causes bitterness in the pith. Also, you shouldn't get as much orange as you want either. One of the reasons that the zest of a citrus fruit has so much flavor is the soluble acid.

TL;DR
You're fine. You'll have beer when everything is done.
