Pineapple Beer?

A friend of mine was wondering how he should add pineapple to his brew. Should this be done in the brew or after during fermention? Should he use chunks of the fruit or juice? Thanks in advance for any advice.

pineapple flavor? in a hoppy beer use citra and centennial.

actual pineapple fruit? i would use juice and campden tab the whole thing.
