Dumb question but anyway, I have a new fitting but it's for the 3 pin liquid side and i wanted it for the gas side. I swapped the 3 pin and 2 pin so gas went in through the new fitting. I basically just switched the long dispensing tube and short gas tube inside the keg... Is this acceptable? I really don't see any issues. But new to kegging

Seemed fine... I did have an issue with dispensing pressure building very high with adjustment turned all the way down, and valve to keg off, but i am certain its a separate issue, possibly a defective regulator.

So, I shut down my fridge for the winter, brought my regulator and bottle in the house, and since I suspect an issue with it, I opened bottle and the dispensing pressure went straight up until relief valve popped open. the adjustment screw was turned all the way back. I closed the bottle off and gauge pressure continued to climb after each time I relieved the pressure until gas was gone. something is amiss I believe... Any thoughts?
