Sorry, it won't let me fix the title, should be 1.054.

This thing is just slow. Is this normal? 1.054 to 1.025 in 10 days sounds like slow progress. I pitched at 53 degrees, cooled to 49 and have been holding that. I'm thinking about letting it raise to 52 degrees to finish up before going to 60 for a D rest.

Is all this normal? It's stil bubbaling so I guess that's good. Sorry for the Nob questions, first lager here.

If you are checking gravity readings with a refractometer, are you converting the numbers with alcohol present?

Yeast is omega German lager I. Basically WY2124. Pitch rate was sufficient.

Gravity was checked with a hydrometer.

At this point, I would let it free rise to 65-68 for a few days (3-6) for a d rest and to finish up. Those few days should get you closer to where you'd want to finish 1.010 ish? After that, transfer for lagering. I lager in kegs under co2 to get started carbonating.

I do not have experience with this particular yeast, I use either (wlp) 830, 833, or 838.

Day 13 and up to 60 degrees. Gravity at 1.016. Will leave it at 60-63 for a few days to finish up.
