Yeah, I know, Ph meters have been discussed over and over and over again. I have read multiple threads, but wanted to ask a real life question....which one is simple to use and "nearly" maintenance free?
I have a cheap pocket unit from Amazon ($15) so its not much. Each time I turn it on I use cal solutions and the meter is usually wayyyy off until zeroed. EVERY time I turn it off, then turn it back on, it is back to the cal solutions. If I am souring a wort and checking Ph several times a day, this meter is a royal pita.
Will a decent $100 meter like a MW-102 be easier to deal with? I can see calibrating occasionally, but like I mentioned above, will this unit be more "forgiving" and user friendly? OR each time I turn it off and back on...is it back to the cal solutions??
