Pasterizive

Any one know anything about pasteurizing there root beer? If I pasteurize after I carb the root beer will that make it stable to not be refrigerated?

Here's Pappers post on cider pasteurizing. It worked to make cider stable, I assume it would work for root beer. When I whip up a batch of root beer this is how I'll do it. Good luck. Cheers.
