Party Star mini keg tap

Has anyone ever used one of these? I purchased one of these and am not happy with it at all. I bought a mini keg of beer to use it on and so I could reuse the empty. The first one the 16g CO2 would leak out within 5 minutes. I returned it to the store and they gave me another one with some more co2. The second one held the gas for the night but was empty by the morning. I was told the 16g co2 would last for a mini keg. It is not working for me. I was hoping it would keep the beer good for a week or so once tapped. Am I asking for to much?

I don't have any problems with mine, holds pressure and keeps beer fresh for 30 days or more if I ever had one last that long.
However, mine is not the exact party star tap you have, it is a very similar beer king brand tap.
