I use oxygen absorbers to store my dry hop additions in Mason jars. During my last batch, I accidentally dumped them into my fermenter with the dry hops.

I'm wondering if there is any danger in drinking this batch. As far as I can tell, it is iron inside the packet. The mylar bag's seal definitely failed but the iron stayed in the pouches.

What do you think? I'm including the link to the absorbers below. Thanks in advance.

This is the product

I still would not consume it knowingly. At the very least the iron will make the beer taste awful. IMHO it's not worth the risk, just chalk it up to experience and be more carefult next time.

As of right now, the beer tastes fine. I took a small sample. I'm not sure if that changes anyone's mind. I opened a packet and everything is definitely contained.
