I recently ordered 2 new 20L Oxebar kegs and have been using them in my current brew. Problem I have picked up now is that the glue that keeps the base attached to the keg has completely worn off and the base falls off whenever I pick it up. The base was kind of loose when I received them but never thought too much of it. The first 20L oxebar I got a few months ago is still 100% with no base issues at all. I'd like to glue it back on, can I use something like gorilla glue to reattach? I assume it needs to be an adhesive that is not too pungent as it makes direct contact with the PET at the bottom of the keg. Also, has anyone ever experienced this with their 20L oxebars?

yes one of mine the bottom got loose and came off . it seemed to happen after i ran it under very hot water in the tub. it hasnt happened since i jammed it back on but the glue that they use did seem a little weak. i am not sure what glue to use if you want to try to reattach it more permanently

I'd reach out to Kegland about this issue.

I'm not sure what kind of glue will work, and is safe to use, on PET.
