Hello,
I'm getting ready to brew a Belgian Pale Ale and was planning on using the dreggs from 3 Orval bottles in the secondary. Can I bottle as usual after a long secondary, at least 4 months? I've had bottles explode in the past, no fun!
Thanks!

You can bottle whenever the gravity is stable. Unlike with primary fermentation where 'stable' is considered the same reading over a few days, you probably want to wait until your reading is the same over a couple weeks. Depending on the beer, I'd expect your FG after you add the Orval dregs to be around 1.006-1.008, but that's just a guestimate.
