"** Cheapest on MBC by hundreds ** Ok here it is. The White Whale. Forget Bourbon County Rare and DB Hunah or anything Cantillion. This is the ultimate whale beer. Way back in 1999 Jim Koch - founder of Sam Adams created a once in a lifetime beer for the new millennium. It was NOT sold to the general public and there were only 3000 bottles made for special, large and prequalified distributors at $200 a piece retail. Each bottle is 750ml. Jim Koch personally signed and hand numbered each bottle before placing it into the special drawstring bag and securing it in the special cherry wood box. This bottle is signed and hand numbered 2524/3000. This checks in at 20% ABV and Beer Advocate rates it World Class. Oh and Rate Beer gives it the remarkable 100/100 score. There is nothing like this. Heaven in a bottle. If you own this case and beer you are instantly cool. 15 years later I wonder how many are left. Must have whale for your personal beer collection. Ever year these become more and more valuable. The greatest part about this beer is that I have it priced hundreds of dollars lower than any other up right now!! $1350, $1600 and $2000 is what I have recently seen. This is 100% legit with the signature, drawstring back with insignia and special MMM cherry box. The wax on the top of the bottle has the "M" stamped in like every genuine bottle should. Shipping is a flat $20 and I will secure it like fine china. Payment must be made via PayPal family and friends option or add 3% on top of the total amount"
The New MyBeerCellar.Com Is Here!
Dear Julian,
Over the last few weeks, you may have noticed some subtle and not-so-subtle changes in the functionality of MyBeerCellar.com. We've been upgrading the site with several much-requested features, like:
In addition, we are currently beta-testing two additional features:
- Search multiple words or a specific phrase
- Search by listing title only
- Save searches and receive an email when new matching items are posted
- Dimensional weight fields added for calculating correct UPS and FedEx shipping
- A public database of beer bottle collectibles and their reported release dates
- Reason for reporting options when reporting a listing
- More robust, multi-layered security protection
- Allow sellers to add tracking numbers to sold item's page
- Ability to 'clone' a listing
We are eager to know what other improvements our community would like. Here is a sample of some ideas we'd like to get your opinion on:
- Are there any additional bugs or issues with our system that the last few weeks of upgrades have yet to address for you?
- Do you typically use a mobile-friendly version of the site to view on your tablet/smart-phone?
- Would a more elaborate web design improve your user experience, or do you prefer the clear interface that the site has now?
Please visit our short (anonymous) survey at http://mybeercellar.com/?survey to provide your input! Alternately, you can share ideas for ways to improve the website by emailing us at [email protected]. Thank you!
Last, we have worked hard to keep our pricing as low as possible from the start - way back in late 2011. Although the website has a TON of traffic, the dollars are just not justifying the expense of time to maintain, as well as work on improvements and upgrades that are needed. To that end, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 we will be raising our rates for credits. Remember, one credit will still enable one advertisement / posting on our website, and credits do not expire for at least 5 years!
New rates are:
The site remains 100% free for buyers, and by far the best value for collectible beer memorabilia aficionados. We appreciate your continued patronage, and are excited by what the future of MyBeerCellar.com has in store!
- 10 credits for $20 USD [$2.00 per credit]
- 20 credits for $36 USD [$1.80 per credit]
- 50 credits for $80 USD [$1.60 per credit]
- 100 credits for $140 USD [$1.40 per credit]
Best,
The MyBeerCellar.com Team
If some federal agency decides to come after MBC, they wouldn't just come after one small site. They would target BA/TB/RB as well.
hipping is a flat $20 and I will secure it like fine china.
i was leaning more towards mybeercellar "getting shut down" because it involves untaxed monetary transactions.
I was told that because the tax is paid at the original point of sale, the feds consider it a done deal.
That's an interesting interpretation of the law. You still need to pay sales tax on a used car...
If you own this case and beer you are instantly cool
/me hops on RIA Checkpoint for some light readingIf you wanted to bore the **** out of yourself, I'm sure the actual/best details, explanations, examples and regulations are within the IRC, maybe even in some of the terms of eBay/Skinner/whatever.

No way this is real...
You can have it for almost half on the other MBC
I guess he's too lazy? ****, I've thought about selling some beer I have, just too lazy to take them out of the basement, come upstairs, pose them for a few good pics, figure out which one looks best, then post, then return the bottle(s) to the basement...Is it normal for people to just rip pics off of BA or other sites instead of taking pictures of the actual bottle thats for sale? I took that picture...
I DEMAND ROYALTIES!
was really hoping it was another incomplete Stone vertical set.
