those three97 triple bocks i posted in some other thread here were purchased from him for a decent price. would recommend buying from him if you see something you think is fairly priced. my only minor bitch would be the packing could have been a touch better though (wrapped great and with peanuts and everything but when picked up sounded exactly like three bottles of beer in a box ;) )

Never to be made again lol. Call me in a few months.....hopefully

Price doesn't seem absurd in comparison to bottles of it that have sold previously, but yeah the unnecessary and inaccurate hype is funny especially because that's not a beer that needs to be "sold" to potential buyers.

never to be made (available) again is more like it. i's have a REALLY good feeling that in a few months the picture will look the same as today...ie. no bottles in sight. i still think that the move would be for them to put it up on draft at the publick house only. think about it, it'll be up for months...it'll drive a lot of business to the publick house...it'll eliminate any 2ndary market on the beer...and the locals can enjoy it over and over and over again.

You are probably right as long as they have the no growlers policy. I've offered to help bottle if and when that day ever comes ;) wishfull thinking.

Yes and yes.

In my experience, and on average, I'd say that sellers are more prompt and better communicators than traders. They also generally do a better packing job.

Obviously, some listings are ridiculous, just like some trade offers.

I have as well. A lot of times, when you factor in the cost of the beer you are trading, plus shipping, it can come close to the purchase price of just buying the beer outright. Plus, you get to keep your beers!
