Constructive criticism welcome on this one...not sure what either of these bottles really trade for.

ISO: 50n4e (would love 2, but not gonna hold my breath!)

FT: Armand & Gaston (multiples possible for right trade)

Would love to expand and/or modify. Also looking for more 'exciting' Loons; Mamouche, LPK, LPF, Lamv, 3F Framboos, etc...Have lots of other lambic that I would consider trading if you have my ISO as well.

(Please ignore my wants/gots)

Cheers!
Would love 2!

I don't see this one as being -that- bad (a Leaner magnum is pretty ******* cool, TBH), other than the fact that, as is typical of these "ISO 2-3 bottles from this list" posts, there's such wildly diverging rarities and values in the list that it looks like it wasn't given any thought other than "what's rare/valuable/hyped/etc?".

Is BA Abraxas + A&T reasonable for a Leaner mag? I don't know, but it doesn't strike me as awful. Derivation 2 + SR71? Yeah, that's pretty ******* dumb.

I could see schaerbeekse kriek + 08 ogv but any other combination is outrageous.

McNazz any interest in a Fundamental Observation Magnum?

Only -1 ever made.

I love you Talk Beer, you are always remain vigilant.

Honestly it's hard to gauge what the hell a Leaner mag would go for. The Fuzzy magnum extravaganza seems like a decent benchmark but there were like 100 of those bad boys, right? I'm all ears though fellas. Just seems like a maggie should hold a little more value than regular ass 750s

Are some of those easy 1:1s or they 1:1+? Help a brother out.

Is this the kind of behavior that would get a person booted from a bottle club like extended family? Only two magnums were available and the dude is trying to flip one.
Selling the magnum? Yes

Trading the magnum? Nope

Can't think of a single membership that frowns upon trading purchased bottles

All members got magnums of something that day and this was just a case of the lucky pick of the draw.

A maggie? JFC I hate beer. Thankfully I have plenty of bourbon around.

I don't know, I like Maggie pretty alright.

Operation: find the shittiest mobile site on the internet.

I did. It's the new Beer Advocate. I know this isn't the place for this but I didn't want to make a thread and not sure where it's been discussed, if at all. I didn't check out the editorial content but the conversations are a virtually unnavigable disaster, on an iphone at least.

I assumed the new layout was an attempt to "mobile up" the desktop page, i.e. have everything look more unified the way a lot of websites and even operating systems have regrettably done (for instance, I hate how MacOS is getting more and more like iOS - I don't want to use a smartphone platform on my notebook, thanks). Funny that apparently the mobile version is just as ****** if not worse.

while not ideal for desktop operating systems, most of the scaleable and responsive sites out there are pretty slick, it only makes sense to design for the web from a mobile-first perspective.

Dunno how good/bad this is, mostly posting for the awesome, genericized use of "big stuff"

Why do magnums get like 10x the value of the regular format beer? It is so dumb.

Gotta catch 'em all. Beer-e-mon!
Hilarious how these newbie Cali traders are landing FO and trading it so damn cheap. They'll look back one day and realize it was a huge mistake. FO is so damn good.

Hey makes it easier for me to get!!

And the reason I'll never own one! I passed on a vanilla eclipse magnum because it was nearly 2x the price per ounce, from the brewery!
This is not to be contrarian or justify anything about the pricing per se, but apparently larger format (1.5L and up) glass is much more expensive. I know that sounds crazy, but I have inquired with my local homebrew shop after reading on here and apparently the larger glass can run a pretty penny.

May not cover the who price delta, but it is a factor is all.
