Or the year before.. except to a very few select lucky people. Yet, still won't trade 1v1 with Leaner. (Not that I would personally trade a LPK 1v1 with Leaner, I'd rather drink the LPK, but each to their own)

LPK 2012 sticker wasn't released? There's quite a few bottles out there.

Thank you for the interest everyone. Still have not worked out the exact trade but fielding the offers. If u have somewhat close to my ISO message me. Cheers

If at first you don't succeed..... Guess he got no offers yesterday.

Nothing like looking for fresh PTE and offering up IPAs from this year stored at room temperature. You do get expert packing though.

Since his beers are from "this year" I am sure he would be fine with some Pliny bottled in February

This made me laugh more than anything I've read on here in a while. Signature-worthy **** there.

https://www.beeradvocate.com/mag/14158/thai-me-up-in-jackson-wyoming/

On an April night in 2014, Thai Me Up general manager Jamie Morris, then a new hire, was streaming the World Beer Cup awards from his office in the back of the Wyoming brewpub.

“We won a bronze early on and we started to party,” he remembers. “An hour later, we won a gold, and I almost fell off my stool. Flash forward a year and a half, and I’m on stage accepting Small Brewery of the Year at GABF with the whole crew.”

Indeed, Thai Me Up’s profile has blown up quite a bit even since we profiled them in 2013 (From the Source, issue #73).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not imagining what they're insinuating here right?

To me it just reads as Melvin/Thai Me Up has gotten big in the past 3 years. Could they be subliminally suggesting they had a role in that hype? possibly. Might BA have turned some people on to them? Likely. I think TMU dominating GABF in 2013/2014 (cit needed) contributed more than anything else though.

If you're thinking something else, clearly I missed it.

Nothing like trying to package up some leftover OH stragglers, some of these are OLD.

    NewHi:

Here's a different trade post. Aimed at the people who don't insist the cans must be only days old to be good. Got a variety of Other Half cans from past releases. If you missed any, this is your chance to tick them off. Make your own four pack. Only one can left for many on the list. Some of the collaborations are my favorite beers.

    FT

    All Citra Everything, Other Half
All Dank Everything, Other Half + Cellarmaker
    All Green Everything, Other Half
    Citra, Other Half
City Slickers, OH + Arizona Wilderness
Grits 'N' Green, Other Half + Creature Comforts
    Hop Showers, Other Half
Lime Green Galaxies, Other Half + Finback
Make It Rain, Other Half + Barrier
No Layups, Other Half + The Answer
    Stacks On Stacks, Other Half
    Telectroscopic, OH + Beavertown

    ISO

Looking for quality fruited sours or BA stout bombers, that are not local. Open to offers. Thanks for looking.

Just a guy who sees what's wrong with trading and is looking to shake that world up a bit; flip the script on some shitlords. Show us all that there's more to trading than objective quality, bottle counts and limits, ease of acquisition, etc. Plus, he's offering a lot of cans from a local brewery and his name is NiceBeerCans, so we can only assume he is, in fact, an expert on nice beer cans. Much respect.

Now where's that Vanilla Rye I was saving for just this kind of offer?

Yeah while I guess you could assume they were trying to say they were the reason for the expansion in popularity, it is in no way implied by what is written there.

Have trillium, tree house, proclamation, night shift, various other hops

Have some wilds (post cursor) and stouts (kbs sms others) as well

Let me know, cheers!

When did trading take a turn for the ****? Not that I've been trading that long (>3 years or so) but in my mind, when you really want something, you make an offer that's hard to refuse, not one that "should be pretty even" or anything like that, especially when it comes to bigger bottles. If in your mind, it's not worth what it commands, then you don't want it enough and shouldn't make the lowball offer. /rant

i'd say the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015 it became more about winning and less about sharing.

WRT the DDG proposal: With the new batch coming out in a couple days (I think) it doesn't seem as egregious as if it was a b1 or b2 trade proposal. Unless he doesn't know there's a new batch and is a complete *******.

It's still bad though

I've seen a lot worse but it's still pretty far off. DDG is released, what, once every 3 years or so? It has a stupid price tag to boot. Everyday hops and stouts with wide distro aren't going to get that done.

Idk if this makes it any more fair, but while DDG was I think $40 for b2, it was 6pp and I believe 7200 bottles. That's a helluva lot of bottles out there.

And how many of those IPA cans get pumped out every week? Yeah, 7200 is a lot of a single bottle release but like I said above, these are everyday hops that you can pretty easily get all year round. I get what you're saying though.
