To me it just reads as Melvin/Thai Me Up has gotten big in the past 3 years. Could they be subliminally suggesting they had a role in that hype? possibly. Might BA have turned some people on to them? Likely. I think TMU dominating GABF in 2013/2014 (cit needed) contributed more than anything else though.

If you're thinking something else, clearly I missed it.

Not that I've been trading that long (>3 years or so) but in my mind, when you really want something, you make an offer that's hard to refuse, not one that "should be pretty even" or anything like that, especially when it comes to bigger bottles. If in your mind, it's not worth what it commands, then you don't want it enough and shouldn't make the lowball offer. /rant

I've seen a lot worse but it's still pretty far off. DDG is released, what, once every 3 years or so? It has a stupid price tag to boot. Everyday hops and stouts with wide distro aren't going to get that done.

And how many of those IPA cans get pumped out every week? Yeah, 7200 is a lot of a single bottle release but like I said above, these are everyday hops that you can pretty easily get all year round. I get what you're saying though.
