Interested in Monkish hops, SARA wild ales, Bottle Logic Stouts, Pappy, or any rare BC variants.

Growler filled 11/23. I've been drinking growlers from the same date all week and I can confirm they are tasting incredible. PM with any questions.

Made him an offer of his choice of one SARA bottle from a long list of a dozen and he replied:

Exactly, when I usually post here it is usually people asking for way too much, this is the opposite. This is an incredible deal for the person giving up the 4 RRs.

I got an email earlier that I received a message on BA. I haven't logged on in quite some time so I had no idea what to expect. I guess someone was doing some digging through some very old posts and saw that my wife was a member of the original iteration of HF's Collected Works.

Here's what he wrote...

Hey, I know we don't know each other even though I think I remember us doing a trade in the past but that might have been many years ago. I read in a past thread that you're in Collected Works. I've been going up to Hill Farmstead since 2010 and they're my favorite brewery ( and I'm sure many people's, haha). I found out that they are allowing current members to nominate people for open spots and I was wondering if you would do that for me. I will repay the favor with good beer to show my appreciation!

If you're interested in nominating people, I'd like to tell you how I feel about HF and Shaun Hill


































































Shaun Hill is easily the best brewer in the world. There's honestly no one else remotely in his class, in my estimation. These beers are so much better than anything else I've had, in their styles, and this is true across so many different types of beer. It's just unbelievable the degree to which I enjoy these beers more than other representations of the same style. I don't say this lightly either. It would be convenient if I didn't need to drive a thousand miles for my favorite beers, but that's just the reality of the situation.

In all seriousness, my wife was picked for that original 50 or so people back in what 2013 or so? And then wasn’t selected out of the “random” group picked to start the second round. It was prob for the better as we don’t have the time to make as many trips up as we used to nor do I spend nearly as much $ on beer anymore. That being said...who’s gonna nominate me???

Same here. Would've been nice to be in round 2, but at this point, I live pretty damn far away, and there's plenty of great beer out there that's more easily accessible. I'm past the point of fighting crowds for the latest and greatest.

After re-reading what I just wrote, I should probably add: Get off my lawn!
