Lousy is polite for my experience with them.

Definitely had a rough patch while scaling up batches over the last year but the Trademark series was really solid overall.
Also, who can't love that he's trying to out-produce the black market?! I'm expecting a few from this next week to be really good, we'll see.

It was the most recent round of weekdays that I had. I think Wednesday and Friday. They were released around this time last year. Were not enjoyable. But that's my entire experience with them. Don't want to write them off as a whole but I'm not exactly eager to run out and try to trade for them.

Agreed with that weekday set. Wednesday was the only decent one and it was still subpar to what we were used to.

On the positive, you don't have to give up much these days or for many, anything at all. Lots of paypal+label bottles making it around.

Forgot this wasn't the Pittsburgh thread where you have to provide a dissertation when you refer to beer as "******".

Making sub-par beer will take care of any black market goings on regardless of quantity available.

Specifically which ones have been so bad?

Hazelnut and dbr from 2015 were fantastic. The Friday bottle from last year got really good with some age on it and most of the others were more than enjoyable on tap. I didn't think the coffee set was anything spectacular but was fun to drink though I wouldn't spend the $25 a bottle again. Also really enjoyed hazelnut and vanilla from the recent set but didn't think the hazelnut was near as good as the last bottle.

Buddy shots has been my favorite from them in a while and most people preemptivly **** on that once they said it wasn't a stout.

I don't care what Cycle says, Buddy Shots was a stout, and it's also the best beer they've made in the past year

If those are some of the worst beers you can find, you're not looking hard enough
Living near Pittsburgh, bad beer is very easy to find. I sure as hell don't need to be trading what little good offerings there are for thin Florida adjunct stouts.

The quality of their beers has definitely changed. They used to be top notch, but lately they have been very meh. They are certainly not worth the price they sell them at most of the time. I get that they are trying to destroy secondary markets, but I feel like they are much more capable of doing better than what they have been.

Much whale. Much stout.
