Looks like they are phasing out White Labs. A vast majority of that brand of yeast is listed as Out Of Stock.

Just an FYI...at their retail locations in both Mpls and St. Paul, their Omega yeast is fairly old. Most of the pouches, as of a few days ago, were from October. Same thing with White Labs. Had to go Wyyeast to get anything from even December.

Who knows about age with the online stuff, but something seems to be amiss in the NB yeast supply chain.

Could very well be. I understand the position of said boycotters. However, before the acquisition and since then, NB's customer service is excellent. Just my $0.02

As for the yeast, I'll see the mfr date when I get it. With my intent to overbuild a starter and harvest from that, I'm not so worried about about the date... as long as it's within 6 months. -_-
