Old style Guinness tap?

Has anyone seen or used one of these style taps before for serving nitro beers?

I'm considering setting up a tap on our kegerator for nitro beers and this is pretty cool looking. I just don't know if it will work well.

What is old style about that? That looks like a typical Guinness tap around here.

It was just labeled as "Old Pub style". I hadn't seen one like that and was curious what the first section is for. It looks like it has an adjustment knob. Is there a restrictor plate?
