A friend of mine that no longer brews gave me his old bottle of StarSan that looks old and syrupy plus his bottle of BLC cleaner, it also looked old yellowed and syrupy and had a crusty cap. There's no mfg date on either bottle.
What would it be good for any ideas? Maybe use double or triple the amount?

Send it to me, I will take it off your hands. All jokes aside I would go ahead and use it. Star san is always syrupy and will concentrate over time if anything. Use the regular dilution rate and relax and have a homebrew.

+1 ^

Either will still be fine, at regular dilutions. There's nothing in them that's age sensitive. They may be a tad darker now, but once dissolved, you couldn't see it.
I've had a bottle of Starsan that took 7 years to use up. The concentrate also had turned a few tints darker. Worked as well as before.
I'm frugal, I keep a working solution around for weeks, months even, in a covered bucket.
