Hey all..

So, my LHBS gave me a pack of 1 kg (2.2 lbs) of Patagonian grown Victoria hops (http://tienda.lupulodelapatagonia.com.ar/pellets/pellets-victoria/), but they are more than 2 years old (2013 harvest) and he couldn't guarantee that they were always stored cold.

I'm planning on brewing a simple SMaSH IPA (Patagonian Pilsner Malt + Patagonian Victoria Hops) with it just to see how it tastes but I'm wondering if I should use more than usual since they're are old and bad stored. Maybe double the amount??

Marshall Schott did an excellent exBEERiment on old hops and found out no significant differences between old and fresh hops, but his old hops were always stored cold.

Any ideas on what I can try? Any special care?

Thanks.
