I brewed my first Oktoberfest from Brewers Best. Today I keg'd it to condition until somewhere around late September. It came in at around 5.6% and looks real good. As per usual I sampled it just before kegging and I am very pleased with the turnout. I know an extract kit is somewhat dummy proof so long as you follow the recipe, but I am always amazed at how they actually taste.

I am sure some seasoned brewers could have things to say about my gravity kegging but I do run my tube all the way to the bottom and fill up, then I purge the keg. It has worked for me for about 2 years now and I see no reason to deviate at the moment. Anyway, I just wanted to share what the beer looks like as I am kegging.
