thinking of rigging this to "push" wort from a sealed mash tun. (recirc and move to kettle).

i have no experience with this and although i cant move liquid through it, i think it would be sufficient to push it.

any comments/ideas?

i dont know what pump you are talking about, but you wont be able to recirculate anything with just an air pump.

but yes, you can use any air pressure source to push liquid from one sealed container to another. getting the mash tun to be air tight may be more of a to-do than you anticipate though.
