So from the article, it has less to do with the teams the Pats play. It has more to do with the fact the Pats were really good most of the season, thus opening a larger gap in ELO rating? Clearly the Patriots are at fault for the chiefs and Steelers puking on themselves in the divisional round.
So will the asterisk for this season be that all the other NFL teams just sucked? Seriously, I’m asking for a friend.

However, I do believe both Jacksonville and Minnesota are good teams. So if they beat both of them I'll have to just tip my hat to the fact the Pats are probably the best team....in the weakest AFC of all time.

Guys want to play and coach for a winning team? Really? Isn’t that good salary cap management, and branding? Maybe the Pats are straight up brainwashing dudes... Or, maybe they get real football guys that love the grind. Guys that aren’t as talented as some, but love the process, and are so happy with it that they stay, even if it comes with a salary renegotiation. Maybe the coaching staff understands that injuries come with the game, and make sure they have the best 53 top to bottom that they can get. Some teams look at a big injury and say “next year”, Pats say “next up”.
