Just threw this together for a friend, looking at brewing tomorrow. Can I get some feedback/thoughts? Thanks everyone.

what you have there looks good. I always add 4 to 6 oz of flaked barley to my oatmeal stouts i get great head retention and lacing.

I use a nylon paint strainer bag and a butcher cord to put my oats into so they can sit in mash tun near the centre so I have no issues when I sparge. It makes cleanup a breeze. Good luck.
