Hi
I want to age a batch of Barley Wine in an Oak Barrel. I have the barrel, I have a batch of Barley Wine in a secondary but dont have a clue the best way to use the barrel. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can go for good instructions. Thanks :mug:

It's not really something that takes much thought. You rack the beer in, leave it for 1-2 weeks and then rack to a keg or bottles.

What else are you looking for?

Is it uncarbonated, does the barrel need to be full all the way or some room left, should I use an airlock....and lastly , do you think 2 or 3 weeks is enough or could I go longer ? Thanks
