I made an ale once that I couldn't name, but everyone liked (alot).

Eventually I found a picture of some 1-Star General wearing a steel pot (helmet) and added it to my label. Then I named it "Gen. Erik" Ale. It's a play on words...generic.:D

What I'd really like to know is who let the Satanists in on our homebrewing forum?

With names like those on the list you're all bound to send the wrong message. Just my opinion.

It fits with the 666 theme. What else could be used?

FWIW, naming a beer Arrogant Bastard isn't sending a wrong message?

Next year when we do a 777 you can get in on it, and you can suggest airplane names or something.

Just my .02....

There was a theme? I must have missed it.

OK!! Here's a couple I made up...

Der Teufels Helles (The Devil's Light)
Der Teufels Höhle (The Devil's Cave (Amber))
Verdammt Bock (Damned Goat)
Eine Tausand Todesstoß Doppelbock (A Thousand Deathblows Double Bock)
Sulphurous Slutty Red (A light Smoked beer)

Please tell me you are kidding. I for one am not a Satanist. This is just a fun idea to celebrate 06.06.06.
Also. Do home Brewers ever worry about sending the wrong message? :ban:

Brew now, drink 6/6/6. I like Imperial Hellfire. How about a low gravity version called The Neighbor of the Beast?

This thread shows how great you all are. Everyone thinks out of the box and makes so much darn sense.

Like BeeGee said, if we want to make this beer part of a larger scale following, we need a name which we can adapt to an IPA, APA, RPA, Creme, Stout, Porter, Bock, Pilsner etc... Folks, we could make a huge line of HBT brews, so lets agree on a name we can use for the long term.

Of course, I was kidding!:D But this is March, not June:confused:

If you read the original thread with the recipe, we are in the planning stages to brew this on 06.06.06 as an epic type brew and enter it into the NHBC competition. Entries for that start in April. We had to get going on it early.

So, peeps....how do we go about picking about 5 of our favorite names and starting a vote?

Imperial Hellfire

Lucifer's Private Reserve

Or on the other side of the spectrum... Happy Brew Team?:p

Imperial Hellfire Ale (IHA) Gets my vote. Second for me would be Lucifer's Private Reserve (LPR)
I'll let everyone else choose the rest.

I like Imperial Hellfire. And I know I'm not supposed to add new anymore, but this is the first that I've really looked at these threads. How about River Styx Royal Red Ale? :rockin:

I like (in order of preference) Imperial Hellfire Red, Beelzebub's Birthday Ale, 'The Apoc-Ale-Ypse', Lucifer's Private Reserve, Stock #666.

Oh, and my contribution 'What-the-hell-is-this-beer?'

Thought of anther one: BeDazzled. We could put Elizabeth Hurley's pic on the label. I know, I know, I'm too late............
