Damn, I'm a *******. Hooked up the keg and forgot to turn on the gas. I was wondering why the beer wasn't carbonating. Twisted the on valve, and away it went. So much for HB on new year's

Bobby,
Thanks. Just go back from the store. The best they had was Bud American Ale. I'm a noob and WANT TO DRINK MY HOME BREW ON NEW YEAR'S.
I'm going to turn up the pressure and shake the hell out of it.
Happy New Year

Shecky, I resemble that comment.;)

Fingers,
It's the same a rocking one of my kids when they were younger. I never knew I was in training when my kids were younger:rockin:

Better then having the faucet on when hooking the keg up .. that makes a mess.

Even worse than that is to leave the faucet OFF after a cleaning, then tapping the keg.

I can say from experience that with a regulator PSI of around 12.5, no faucet, and a shank that's about 4' from the floor, you can easily shoot beer about 5' away:mad:
