Northern brewer smashing pumpkin ale

Hello everyone,
I just ordered NB all grain pumpkin ale kit. I would like to add canned pumpkin to the mash but I'm not sure how much to add. Can anyone explain the process of mashing pumpkin with the grains for me? Thanks.

I'm mainly concerned with hitting the mash temps after I bake the pumpkin.
