Hello all,

I'm glad I found an active forum to get myself more in the loop in regards to homebrewing, I'm not exactly a babe in the woods but I still very much consider myself a 'newbie' with only 10 batches under my belt.

Homebrewing has intrigued me since I began dabbling in it about two years ago with my father. I'm a real 'do it yourself'er so homebrewing is incredibly fun and satisfying to me; especially when my friends get ahold of the results.

I'm looking to improve my skills and get that quality up from novelty to must have beers. I think this is just the crowd to help me reach that level. I look forward to dabbling in the knowledge stored here.

I'm out and about in the Plano area. A pretty good place to be when it comes to getting ingredients! I'm always surprised by how much is available.

New member future brewer, looking to buy a kit and start brewing also from N.Tx, just chiming in.

Great place in the Richardson/Dallas area, Homebrew Headquarters on Coit and Arapaho. It's kinda tucked away though. On the east side of the street.

I've been there several times, great place and they are very good at helping you out. I order just about everything from AHS, been real happy with them too.

Anyway, I'm in Frisco if you want to swap some homebrew or get together on a brewday, I'm always ready! :D
