I have always thought about it but never seen it until today at target. Malted barley and hop soda? Has anyone seen this before or tried it or seen a different on?
Wikipedia lists no fewer than 121 different brands... It's very popular in Spanish speaking countries. I have personally noticed 3 different brands in the ethnic foods section of the grocery around here. Goya, Vitamalt, and another one I forget.
I've seen treads on fermenting it and heard people using it to make yeast starters but never drank the stuff myself.
