Hi, last week, after almost two months of "neglecting" my scobies, I started them brewing again. So after a week there is still no baby scoby formed. The kombucha tastes quite sweet and has just a slight hint of fizz.
Any suggestions/ideas about what would help? Are the scobies just recovering from being neglected?
Thanks in advance. :)

I had left them sitting in a jar of left over kombucha, didn't use them for a while.

I had the "starter" brew the scobies were sitting in. It did smell kind of vinegary, though. I used that and made it with my usual recipe.

Did you have them in an airtight container? What is the temp where you have the brew sitting. Could just have a dormant scoby that needs some time to spool up
