I just recently saw a thread regarding this but couldnt track it down. Im making a guinness clone and am going to keg it but dont have the co2 bottle and the whole set up yet so im going to use a hand charger. I plan on priming with sugar in the keg and using a hand charger to push the beer. Now Im wondering if i could get that creamy beer gas effect by using one of those nitro whip cream cartridges?

Thanks for the help!

(Cant wait for St. Pattys Day!)

Having a stout faucet is an important part of the pour to get that creamy head. They have plates with small holes in them that force the formation of small bubbles.

So that is a futile effort until i get something better than a picnic tap handle then eh?

Thanks for the reply david
