Drilled to 1/8"

Found a 3/8 ball valve at the wall with a 3/8-1/2 adapter.

Is this just the way NG works with a BG12? Move it closer?

My boil is a BG14. It hasnt been installed yet. I just wanted to figure this one out first before I drill the nect orfice.

Is 1/8" just for the BG14?

I have the same burner with the Hurricane Conversion valve (http://www.williamsbrewing.com/HURRICANE-NATURAL-GAS-CONVERSION-VALVE-P2214C87.aspx); no that's not how the flame is supposed to be on NG. That looks like it's going to be throwing off tons of soot and CO.

I had a lot of yellow flames at full throttle way back when I was first testing mine. A couple suggestions. First, get rid of the elbow where the supply line connects (the elbow restricted the flow too much when I tried it). Second, remove the air/fuel dampener entirely. If it still burns that yellow, then you probably need a new orifice.

Thanks for the response. I have a couple extra orfices to mess with, maybe start smaller next time. I will take the elbows off and try that first

Thank you! I removed the dampener and its a beast! I uploaded to youtube. Bg14 is next
