Got a Homebrew kit from my wife for Xmas and can't wait to get started!!
Of course being a Hophead I want to make an IPA so I purchased an IPA beginner kit.(did I mention I'm a big Hophead) So of course I want to make it pretty hoppy.
So my question is...At what point of the brew process do I add more hop pellets to get a hoppier brew?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advace

Welcome Amalheiros. Umm I can't really give you an asnwer to your question and it be the right answer but I can try. From what I've learned from reading I believe you'll probably want to make sure you time your late hop additions exactly. Not exactly sure if you'll want to add more than the recipe requires though. But I think you'll be adding hops to the boiling wort 30 minutes then 15 minutes before the end of the boil.

generally you will get more flavor from additions around 20 minutes left in the boil. You will get more aroma from hops added in the last 10 minutes.

It would be helpful to know what your recipe calls for to make modifications. If you want to just add an extra ounce at 15 minutes and 5 minutes, you should get more of a hop bomb.
